How to Fix Quicktime Installation Error ul_catalog.98cb24ad_52fb_db5f_ff1f_c8b3b9a1e18e not found in cabinet file quicktime.cab

 Hi! This is the way to fix issue during installation of Quictime media player.

1. Put the quicktime installer in a folder. Click on the address bar, type cmd then enter. 

2. Command prompt window will show and then type installer_name.exe /extract

3. You now have 4 new files extracted from the installer

AppleApplicationSupport.msi
AppleSoftwareUpdate.msi
Quicktime.msi
QuickTimeInstallerAdmin.exe

Then you can install the following apps:
AppleApplicationSupport.msi
AppleSoftwareUpdate.msi
Quicktime.msi

You can ignore QuickTimeInstallerAdmin.exe.
